SOCIAL AWARENESS

Most of the populated cities of our country spread air pollution and the major cause of air pollution is transport sector.Heavy rush on the road symbolize that per capita air pollution is increased day by days in cities.
20% of the total population of our country live in villages.
and rest live in cities. But air pollution is done by people of the cities not by the villagers.
People know that dumping wastes into the river water is not good but still they do that.
It means that they have no sense of humor to avoid this.
In India water pollution is one the biggest challenge for the government.Government should take necessary action to those people who use to dump wastes into the river water.

LAND,WATER AND AIR POLLUTION

Impacts of different pollutents

          Nitrogen Dioxide:  NO2
brownish gas irritates the respiratory system originates from combustion (N2 in air is oxidized); NOx sum of NO, NO2, other oxides of N
          Ozone:  ground level O3
        primary constituent of urban smog
reaction of VOC + NOx in presence of heat +sun light
          Carbon monoxide: CO
reduces bloods ability to carry O2
          Lead:  Pb
cause learning disabilities in children , toxic to liver, kidney, blood forming organs
tetra ethyl lead – anti knock agent in gasoline
leaded gasoline has been phased out
          Particulate Matter:  PM10 (PM 2.5)
        respiratory disorders
          Sulfur Dioxide:  SO2
formed when fuel (coal, oil) containing S is burned and metal smelting
precursor to acid rain along with NOx

AIR POLLUTION EFFECT

EFFECT OF AIR POLLUTION

1.Greenhouse effect

2.Ozone depletion

3.acidification

4.smog formation

5.human health

6.ecosystem health

SAVE EARTH

APPEAL TO ALL MY FRIENDS

CONSERVE WATER AT HOME. WASTING WATER IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST WAYS INDIVIDUALS IMPACT THE HEALTH OF THE PLANET.

INSTALL WATER-SAVING DEVICES ON YOUR FAUCETS AND TOILETS. A LOW-FLOW SHOWER HEAD COULD BE A GOOD START.DON'T WASH DISHES WITH THE WATER RUNNING CONTINUOUSLY.

USE LESS ELECTRICITY. COAL AND NATURAL GAS ARE THE MOST COMMON SOURCES OF ENERGY THAT GETS TURNED INTO ELECTRICITY.

PLANT TREES TO SHADE YOUR HOME.
